As we enter into 2018, we remember all of the incredible accomplishments that the previous year has brought us.

Standard Distribution Co. has been in operation for over 80 years. Our long term success is a result of each and every one of our dedicated team members, as well as our loyal customers.

Community Investment

Each year, the City of Cedar Falls and Cedar Falls Utilities recognizes local businesses for their efforts to better the Cedar Falls community. In 2015, Standard Distribution Co. was honored to be the recipient of the “Long Time Investor Award”.

Our company has continued to better the community in which we reside. This past year Standard Distribution Co. began construction on an addition to our Corporate Headquarters. This expansion is located at 317 Savannah Park Road in Cedar Falls, and represents our ongoing commitment to the Cedar Falls community.

The new location is set to officially open in the first few months of 2018. We look forward to providing additional assistance and value to the City of Cedar Falls in the months to come.

Ongoing Energy Efficiency

We here at Standard Distribution Co. we are also very concerned with our impact on the environment. Two years ago our company received the “Energy Innovation Award” for our energy efficiency efforts within our 1225 Rail Way location in Cedar Falls.

Our business continues to dedicate itself to these improvements. In April of 2016 we began generating solar energy at our 1109 Viking Road location. This project continues to progress, and we are incredibly proud of the positive effect it has brought to our company and community.
